The engine
Prices move
while you sleep.
Once a night the market reads what your league actually did. Who got bid on. Who got a direct offer. Who had her release clause paid. And — this is the one nobody else counts — who went out to market and nobody wanted.
- Rejection costs, not just demand. A player everyone chases goes up. A player who sits in the shop window and closes without a single bid goes down, and it weighs almost as much.
- Nothing doubles overnight. Every move is capped, and the middle of the market swings hardest: a bench player can jump a fifth of her value in a day, a franchise player barely a percent.
- Release clauses. One and a half times what she cost you, recalculated as the price moves. The only way to sign someone who is not for sale.

Every player,
in detail.
What she is worth today, what the market did to her price, and how she has scored season by season.
And what she
costs to steal.
Every player carries a release clause. Pay it and she changes teams on the spot, whether her manager likes it or not.

The week closes, the points are counted and the next one opens. The WNBA plays from May to September, so there is a season to jump into for a good part of the year — and the market runs the rest of it.
